The US musician referenced the wet weather as he took to the stage at the festival.
Geese frontman Cameron Winter warned festivalgoers not to “drink the water” as heavy rainfall seeped through the tent during their set at Reading Festival.
The US musician, 24, was among the stars braving the wet weather as he took to the stage in The Gallery tent alongside his bandmates at the annual music festival.
“It’s not good for you,” Winter added as he addressed the crowd, most of whom were damp, covered in mud and wearing plastic ponchos.
The group played some of their best-known tracks including Trinidad, Cobra and Husbands as well as 2122.
During the set, singer Winter tried his best to humour the lively crowd as spirits were dampened by heavy rain which was inescapable as it made its way through the tent covering the stage.
Other acts performing during the rainy second day of the festival include Gene Gallagher, the son of Oasis frontman Liam, and his band Villanelle.
YouTube star turned musician James Marriott, singer Skye Newman and rapper Skepta were also at the event, as well as Slovakian singer Adela – who wore a revealing denim two-piece for an energetic performance on The Gallery stage.
Festivalgoers were pictured frolicking in the rain during the event, with many laughing and posing for photos as they remained in good spirits despite their outfits being drenched in mud.
Whilst some music lovers were seen flinging mud at each other and playing in puddles, others were hiding beneath their plastic ponchos as they braved the poor weather conditions.
Friday also featured a performance from Brat star Charli XCX, marking her first full-scale festival headline performance since the release of her latest record – Music, Fashion, Film.
The 34-year-old singer strutted on stage before a screaming crowd as the rain finally stopped, opening her act with an energetic performance of one of her new singles, Rock Music.
